Name change, U.S. Launch, and new fragrance for Boujee Bougies

The renowned UK fragrance brand Boujee Bougies, founded by fragrance experts Pia Long and Nick Gilbert, is stepping into a new era with a rebrand that better reflects its evolving focus on personal fragrances. Now known as Eau de Boujee, the brand is doubling down on creating evocative perfumes that tell unique, imaginative stories. In a statement on their Instagram, the brand shared, “We are shifting our focus and energy towards creating more perfumes and stories that we hope you’ll love as much as we do.”

As part of its reimagined identity, Eau de Boujee introduces a new fragrance, Infleurno, which draws on the captivating myth of Persephone. First previewed at Milan’s Esxence event, Infleurno captures the duality of Persephone’s worlds—a journey between light and dark, life and the underworld. With notes of charred grapefruit, creamy white petals, and a touch of smoky intrigue, Infleurno is a sensory representation of rebirth and transformation.

The brand describes the fragrance poetically:

“Goddess of both flowers and hell, Persephone waves the underworld farewell. A passionfruit replaces the pomegranate tainted with deceit. Joy of freedom sparks embers from the heels, leaving behind a pyrotechnic trail. Zest for life arrives each year, in bloom and fruit once more. Smoking embers of resins and woods left in her wake, she bids Hades and demons adieu.

Eau de Boujee’s Fragrance Collection

With its name change and rebrand, Eau de Boujee expands its lineup with Infleurno, but fragrance lovers will still be able to enjoy the brand’s four celebrated existing perfumes, each crafted to evoke a story through scent. These unique fragrances, now available for U.S. customers at Ohio’s Indigo Perfumery, reflect Eau de Boujee’s vision of storytelling through personal fragrance.

  • Verdant
Notes: Giant green plants, fresh water, salty concrete
Verdant takes us into a lush, almost fantastical world where life overtakes a brutalist landscape. The air is thick with fresh greenery as the scents of plant life mingle with the mineral essence of stone.

“New verdant air reaches skyscraper heights as millions of green stems weave through brutalist buildings from some distant past when humans ruled the Earth. A dewy mist lightly hovers over the concrete jungle, and a desert has turned into an oasis. New life can begin.”

  • Queen
Notes: Rose jam, floral blooms, honeyed tea
Inspired by the whimsy of Victorian fantasy, Queen is a romantic, surreal blend that combines roses and jam-sweetness with an air of fantasy. Imagine Alice in Wonderland through a perfumed lens.

“Alice stepped through the looking glass and was made Queen, and now she’s thrown a tantrum and there are jam tarts everywhere. The sweetness of Victoriana is set to the soundtrack of a hallucinogenic dream. Honeyed black tea is spilled. Red and white roses dance around a mushroom.”

  • Gilded
    Notes: Incense, gold, light
Gilded is a fragrance of ethereal elegance, reminiscent of golden temples and ancient rites. It wraps incense and resin in a halo of celestial light, inviting wearers into a peaceful sanctuary.

“All that is gilded will be bold. A celestial temple of golden light transcends earthly reality. The whispered mysteries of ancient spirits, covered in gold by awe and time. All life endeavors to ascend to a higher plane, a state attained through incense and devoted spirituality.”

  • Quir
    Notes: Leather, tobacco, spice
Bold, sensual, and unapologetically rebellious, Quir combines the allure of leather and tobacco with a hint of spice. It’s a celebration of individuality and subversive charm—a fragrance that turns heads and invites intrigue.

“Explicit acceptance and subversive joy in a secret world of leather and pleasure. A celebration of defiant exuberance, the spectrum of individuality and identity. Patent leather glistens amid well-worn biker jackets, adorned with spiced floral corsages.”

A New Chapter for Eau de Boujee

With the U.S. launch, Eau de Boujee’s perfumes are now reaching new audiences ready to explore the brand’s unique and artful approach to fragrance. The rebrand marks an exciting transition from luxury home fragrance into the world of personal perfumes, inviting fans to experience the same imaginative storytelling through wearable scent. Whether it’s the refreshing green of Verdant or the mythical allure of Infleurno, each Eau de Boujee fragrance continues to embody the brand’s commitment to creativity and olfactory craftsmanship.

As Eau de Boujee begins this new journey, the brand’s fragrances remain unmistakably bold, poetic, and timeless—a perfect blend of luxury and personality for fragrance lovers everywhere.
